Product details

Name: English Oak Scientific: Quercus robur A.K.A.: European Oak, Pedunculate Oak, Common Oak This Variation: 3 of 5. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available. Notes: A grand tree with a large wide spreading crown of rugged branches. It may naturally live to an age of many centuries (the oldest known example is thought to be more than 1,500 years old). Today, as in the past, English Oaks are planted as an important forestry tree producing a durable and attractive hardwood. There is considerable folklore and mythology associated with this tree making it an important spiritual and cultural species in many regions and religions. Native to most of Europe, Asia Minor and parts of North Africa. It is widely cultivated as an ornamental tree in temperate regions, and has become naturalised in many parts of its introduced range. It often forms dense woodland. Included in this Package: 15 models in total Standard — 520,188 polygons, 629,799 vertices, 24.46m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes. Spring — 517,500 polygons, 626,771 vertices, 24.55m tall. Seasonal, immature leaves have just begun to grow. Autumn — 519,052 polygons, 628,489 vertices, 24.44m tall. Leaves have changed colour and some fallen. Winter — 518,428 polygons, 627,821 vertices, 24.53m tall. Barren branches. Thriving — 573,280 polygons, 694,602 vertices, 24.46m tall. Peak health. Distressed — 371,308 polygons, 448,016 vertices, 24.18m tall. Declining health with some diseased and broken foliage. Unhealthy — 216,430 polygons, 359,003 vertices, 24.67m tall. Poor state with considerable foliage missing or diseased. Dying — 105,046 polygons, 123,320 vertices, 24.61m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage. Dead — 33,182 polygons, 36,625 vertices, 24.61m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage. Ancient — 565,810 polygons, 675,336 vertices, 28.61m tall. Very small and young plant. Forming — 3,323 polygons, 4,549 vertices, 2.88m tall. Extremely young and small but taking on its adult shape. Sapling — 2,272 polygons, 3,255 vertices, 1.41m tall.
